The Maryland Lighthouse Challenge

I'm doing it. You knew it was coming. The marathon maryland lighthouse challenge posts!

 laura and i had been so stupid excited to do the lighthouse challenge! and, i gotta say, it did not disappoint! it was so.much.fun. and here is my nerd disclaimer: it's totally nerdy. it's totally for old people. we are almost always the youngest people there. but it is fun. we enjoy it and it's a nice hobby to have. so there.

 

there were 9+1 lights on the challenge and the theme this year was the buck stops here. we had from friday-sunday to complete them all. then at each lighthouse we got a souvenir - a lighthouse "buck" with a picture of a famous light keeper on one side and the lighthouse on the other. it was awesome!
