after the letdown of not being able to find ccuf (and we thought about trying some more, but we were running out of daylight and had more lights to see!), we drove to north point state park for a view of both the cclf and cclr.
we went down to a dock which was as close as we could get.

there were some nice people fishing that we got to take a picture for us.
from that same dock looking to the right we could see the cclf.
i would be so fascinated to go onboard one of these old water lights! it's probably pretty gross inside, but it would be interesting to see what we'd find. i hope someone will take these cute lights under their wing and fix them up.
