Senyah night!!!

We finally had a morning to stay at home. Except poor Alexis, Chris, Addie and Matt. (; we didn't have to leave until 1 to take Chris to the dentist. Poor guy has a sore mouth again.

Laney finally fell asleep on the way home from the dentist. Cute double chin. (:
Frankie tried on my boots. Shoes are so fun.
Chris had his last baseball game rescheduled for tonight. Bummer since it was also senior night! I hate missing games. (The football game ended by 8 and we ((Laura, josh, and I)) made it to chancellors by 8:30 but c's team, who was 10 runs behind, had decided to quit. Super bummer!)
We had Ellie over to babysit and Matt and I headed to LHS for senior night! I can't believe it is already here! Seems like yesterday Lexi was a freshman and I was watching the seniors walking onto the field with their parents. Isn't she the cutest?!
Robin made her the cutest poster!
It was a gorgeous night!!! Beautiful sunset and then still 70 degrees at 9pm! What a difference from last week when we froze!
The seniors were competing for the spirit stick and Lexi was determined to win. She was being so silly!
And loud. And obnoxious.
She jumped around the whole game. Periodically they would chant "senior nation!"
We won! 26-6! Who are these boys who are 7-2??? And where were they the last 3 years? Oh well, I guess a winning season senior year beats any other year, right? Miss brandy gathered all the girls around to give out the spirit stick...
"Who wants it?"
And Lexi wins!
She was ecstatic! It was pretty cute.
That is one happy senior! At least for a few minutes until I reminded her that she was grounded and could not go to mcd's with the team. But that's another story.
Happy, happy, happy!
She's had such a fun year cheering. All the girls have gotten very close, I love it!
Matt and I escorted her onto the track at halftime. I thought I would be bawling, but I wasn't. It was happy. Our girl is growing up and she is beautiful and smart and strong and we love her. She has worked hard and completed 5 years of cheer and we just couldn't be more proud that she found something she liked and she stuck with it.
You hold onto that spirit stick, beautiful girl, you earned it!
