concord point lighthouse

after pooles island we headed north up to havre de grace to the concord point lighthouse. it was so cute! we were driving, turned the corner, and boom! there she was!

this place was bumping! it was so busy and fun with lighthousers everywhere!

that sign says this is the northernmost lighthouse of the chesapeak bay.

it's one of donahoo's dozen. a lot of his lighthouses have the same look.

i just love the feel of this lighthouse. they've got a little park dedicated to it and it's really quaint and cute.

this volunteer was very friendly and told us story after story about how he and his wife started and then continued volunteering at the ligthhouse. (the moral of the story was that they felt better and had more energy when they volunteer, it recharges them - good moral)

we spent way too much time and money there. just so many people to talk to and things to see! thankfully when we were only a little behind schedule. and we were off!
