Poor Emmett was sick and Lu sent pics from the drs office.

And Carter cuteness.

We went trick or treating on the square.

Frankie was a doctor of everything - orthodontia, obstetrician, “shot doctor,” veterinarian, among several other specialties.

Adi decided she wanted to be a muse a few months ago and she searched and searched for the perfect costume.

And Delaney picked a skeleton. I was super stoked to find this costume for $15 at Target.

It was a beautiful day. Nice and warm.

It was a fun day for T or T’ing on the square. We followed in a group and never had to wait too long. It wasn’t too crowded, but there were still lots of people to see.

Matt and I went as 2020 employees - business on top and pj’s on the bottom.

These cute girls.

We all love a silly shot. Can you find the Delaney?

That evening D went over to play at Hayden’s and her dreams came true when she was able to hang out on her balcony. She loves a balcony!

And some shots from papa. Me taking a picture of the girls.

The tie dye guy!

We missed this last year.

We all enjoyed spirit week. Lexi sent pictures of the boys everyday.

Some days they were not into it.

And also Frankie finally received her PE gear and she was so excited.

More randoms

We went to the pumpkin patch one day. It was not our best year. We’d invited people, but only Aina’s could come, and the Callihan’s met us there for a bit.

These girls claim Ezra as their own.

It was nice and warm and the girls all played.

We managed to get a few pictures even though there was some drama.

We love our pumpkin patch!

Papa let us try out his weighted blanket and the girls each took turns. They all liked it!

One morning I went up to the Bayside Ward conference and crossed the bridge just as the sun was coming up. It was breathtakingly beautiful. All month I’ve been in awe of all the beauty around us. We are so loved to have such a beautiful earth.

Delaney did some safe sunbathing one day.

Our October family walks entailed capes and sometimes full costumes. Delaney requested this picture in the Clark’s Rest spotlights.

Overall it’s been pretty warm, but we’ve had a few cold mornings. That sometimes means brekkie on the floor in front of a heater.

School picture proofs! I haven’t ordered their pictures in a few years since we take family pictures every year.

I’m staff appreciation chair at the middle school again, and we collected snack donations, then the girls helped me put together goody bags for the bus drivers. First we organized the food into categories.

Then packaged the bus drivers, then organized the extra snacks for the staff in the building. .

Lovely.

The girls love coming early with me and being in the staff lounge. We got everything setup, and then I restocked once in the middle of the day.

Elizabeth came and helped me pass out the bus driver bags right before school let out.

The girls wrote messages on every bag.

It got pretty hairy there as multiple busses came at the same time, and we were hoofing it to get everything delivered. Because of subs I ended up one short, but I ran to the JGG and quickly assembled another bag.

Delaney got her art back from the fair. She was pretty proud.

More of my walk pictures. It’s all just so beautiful, I am rarely outside without wanting/taking a picture.

One of my fav volunteer opportunities is the book fair, and I was able to volunteer twice. Once for the Harry Potter night, because obvi. The girls came too and helped ring things up. They stayed several hours before they’d had enough. We love books.

One afternoon at piano we had a storm. There was thunder and lightning and it got windy before it rained. Frankie and I went for a walk and then had started tutoring in the back of the JGG, but Frankie was too distracted and nervous. So we went and sat at Johnna’s table and watched the storm move across the water. It was gorgeous.

Random stuffs

Let’s start with this lil’ cutie fresh from the bath and his cute lil’ mommy.

Delaney wore this devil headband all of October. I don’t even know. I do know that this story had a tragic ending when we found the shredded remnants of said headband in Johnna’s yard, a week after she’d left it at piano. I’m sure Peanut had fun shredding it. 😂

I love walking to school, and National Walk to School day is always a big deal. D and I talked to Mary Washington and d got some goodies.

Frankie got braces!

Just on top for now.

One day I spent the majority of my day cleaning Frankie’s room. I went through all her drawers and under bed and chest.

The next day I did Delaney’s. They look so pretty when they’re clean!

We’ve fully adjusted to mornings alone with baby bug. And she’s been having me walk her to school almost every day instead of every other, so that’s sweet.

This was a treasure I found cleaning Frankie’s drawers. It’s the “I fear you do,” that got me. 😂 so earnest!

Bubba bought a truck! He’s wanted one forever, and drove little Gideon while he saved, saved, saved. He’s always been so good with his money that I’m not worried about him at all. I’m so excited for him to have his dream car.

Delaney and Adi have some orthodontia in the works, and our dentist wanted her to have a sleep study since she has a very narrow airway, so she referred us to a pediatric ENT up in Virginia. There are the devil horns again.

4 hour round trip, and the very nice ENT said we don’t need the sleep study. Which is fine, I didn’t think she needed it either, but better safe than sorry. I snagged this while sitting in traffic on the way home. It was a long day.

Bubba tried on his pink and green fancy uniform for us. I’m not totally sure why they’re called that, but he looks pretty handsome.

And then it was time for him to go to his new duty station in NY.

We’re so glad he’s on the east coast and just a long drive away instead of a long flight and long drive.

Of course we had to have a photo shoot.

They were being adorable.

They love their bubba.

Then Chris decided to be adorable too. So cute.

Nanny sent a Halloween package, and mail is always so exciting.

They each got a cute new metallic pencil box filled with goodies. Fun surprise.

I went to Super Saturday and made a cute wreath.

Adi and Frankie came to the church with me and manned the nursery, so Delaney for a date with papa. With her devil horns, obvi.

They went to take pictures in Annapolis, along with every other person in MD. Plan B was visiting Alli at the mall where she works.

Delaney spent some time in Clair’s = every girls dream, while papa waited for her outside and got reprimanded for taking pictures of little girls. It can be hard knocks when you’re a photog!

Papa waited in a forever line at Chicfila just for Delaney, she was so happy.

They had a fun adventure.

I decided we needed some Halloween lights, so I ordered one long strand and we set out to make “Halloween tree.” I quickly realized we’d need another crazy long strand, and we loved it so much that I wanted to do all the shrubs too, but I couldn’t decide on a color. Maybe next year.

We are in the habit of having the girls choose church cloths on Saturday. Too many Sundays of early meetings and having them come to church looking feral. I loved the way Adi thought of everything. A girl after my own heart.
