Day #7 - saying goodbye

Friday morning dawned busy. We had to be out of the house by 11. For us that meant packing up 4 weeks worth of road trip stuff. For everyone else (including HS) that meant dividing up food, beach toys, puzzles and games, and cleaning.

Then it was picture time.
Groups of cousins.
Everyone running around, no one wanting to go.
4 year old crew!
Then we tried to get all the grands that were there. Freylor, along with lex and Chris had left early in the morning. Also, Allie had left to catch her flight from Portland.
The vast majority were good photo subjects.
Then someone suggested we get a jumping shot. Videos, slow mo videos, and hilarity ensued.
Then it was time to pile on nanny.
Loves!
After we convinced Quinn to stop choking her, it was great.
Then we got grumps in on that action. Lanes decided she wasn't happy with something.
And nanny decided she wasn't letting Laney out of the picture.
Hahaha. She deserved it.
Loooooove.
3 8-year-olds, 1 6-year-old, 3 4-year-olds, a 2-year-old, and a 1-year-old. Not pictured 1 22-year-old, 1 20-year-old, 1 18-year-old, and 1 16-year-old.
What a fabulous week, all because of these 2. So generous, I can't even.
Then it was time for papa to fly solo with the g-kids.
They all loved it.
Too soon it was time to say goodbye. It was such a good week. Peaceful, happy, loud, delicious, and beautiful. Can't say enough good things.

Amy and crew, mom, and my crew headed to the Christmas store we'd been wanting to check out all week.
After that we met up at dads for a quick visit, then it was time to say goodbye to that crew too.

I wish we all lived closer, I'd even settle for within a day's drive. Maybe someday.
