groundhog day all over again

my blog is behind and blah, blah, blah.

trying to be better. it seems that when i am juggling i can never have all the balls in the air at the same time. for the few that are going well, there are just as many on the ground. and blogging done been rolling downhill since way back in 2014.

and speaking of groundhogs, darn phil saw his shadow and we are soooo cold. ready for spring!

but life is gooooood and must be documented.
(and my phone is seriously on it's 8th life and i neeeed to get all my pictures off of it asap!!!)

quick update:

**matt just got back from his 2 week annual training in dallas. he had a great time! he went to the temple a bunch, ate some great bbq, bought some new skateboard gear and used it a ton, and learned a lot.

**alexis is still loving the college life. mostly the parties. ;) she has requested her old cheer shoes be sent to her because she's joined a "stunt group." i am all for it and we mailed the shoes today.

**chris is still on the hunt for a job. his indoor track season has come to an end. he had fun with it and is getting ready for spring track here in the next few weeks.

**addie get's on parent contact (it's a really good thing!) almost weekly. she looooves her teacher and we are so thrilled with her too. she is busy, busy! she goes to gymnastics monday night, and then every other week she has piano on tuesdays, and then daisies on wednesdays. she'll say "do i have anything today?" and that kind of breaks my heart. but then i'm like, it's 30-60 minutes, every other week, sooooo, i think we're good.

**frankie has been playing indoor soccer and it's been a roller coaster. she liked it, she hated it. she likes being goalie, she won't play at all. finally this last game on saturday she let matt talk her into being goalie and then she actually played in the game!!! matt held her on the sidelines and stayed with her, which tactic i disagree with, but i had to admit that it worked. just goes to show (again) that parenting is not one size fits all.

**delaney turned 3! she is still a joy in our home. she's becoming more of a sassy joy, but still such a love bug. she's still working on the potty training, but it will come!

i am getting things done. i continue to make my daily, weekly, monthly, hourly lists. little by little, friendo, little by little.

and some of the gang from Christmas break.
letting them all drive off together is equal parts awesome and terrifying.
 what could go wrong?!
