lexi went to nyc for nye to see the ball drop. it was a definite bucket list item and i have to say i was a little jealous! she and 3 girlfriends took taylors jeep up and stayed the night with alli before heading straight home. they had fun.
i am so lucky that i have 3 little hairstylists that do my hair all the time.
and it always looks so good when it's done too!
one warm and foggy day we went for a bike ride to check out our new school.
our little bike messenger came along too.
we let them ride ahead to the end of the street and then they wait for us patiently to catch up before we all cross the street together and do it all again.
we went over the bales of hay that block the path and walked around the path around the school.
we are at least respectful trespassers.

we haven't watched a lot of tv lately, but when it is on a kids show, they are glued. the top picture is laney happily watching a show, the bottom one when the show ended and we turned the telly off. doesn't your heart just break for her?!

gymnastics fun.
laney likes to get a dot and put it under the bars so she can hang and then drop onto the dot.
since frankie isn't doing gymnastics this time, we've been going to target after gymnastics every tuesday. on our way to gymnastics we saw a work truck and laney started cracking up about the "candy cane truck!" she was seriously laughing so hard, she loved it!
so when we saw the candy cane truck at target we had to get a picture with it!
target is one of our favorite places and popcorn is one of our favorite foods.
see? sleeping babies are delicious.

i had been wanting to organize my spices. one stressful day when i needed to do something mindless before my head exploded, i did it. i took out every spice, cleaned the lazy susan, and alphabetized them. do you even know how nice it is to know right where to go to find each spice? s'wonderful.
kid swap day bath time! we have to bathe early if we want to play in the bath at all with a 7:30 bedtime. that means sometimes friends join us.
frankie was citizen of the month for her class in december. it was also pajama day.

delaney made a stuffed animal totem pole.
one sunday i took chris and jacob to take the sacrament to the mesmers. anyone that knows them knows you can't spend just 5 minutes there cause they are big talkers. :) we waited in the car cause delaney was asleep, and we had quite the wait. we sent this pic to our navy daddy on his weekend. it's all good.

delaney thinks it is hilarious to put boy lego heads on girl lego bodies. she'll come up to me chuckling and show me her handiwork. i am in love with this chic.
which is probably why i take so many pictures of her.
and one straggler from 'the sprain.' chris took care of me and the girls all day, but he needed a little coaching. we've been on a frog eye salad kick, so i asked him to bring me some. this is what i got. does he think i'm 18 months old? :)
turned out matt had taken most of the leftover salad to work and this was all that was left, but i got a good chuckle.
