science project 2

lil' sistah was ready to roll!
her project kind of evolved as we went along.
the whole thing worked differently when i did this with lexi 13 years ago.
back then she was actually able to "catch" the bubble on her wet hand.
this time, no matter how hard we tried, we could not catch a bubble without it popping! and we tried and tried!!! wet, dry, it didn't matter, they popped. kind of threw off our whole project, hence the evolving nature of our her project..
we got a few to land on our soft surface though. :)
i think she wins just by being so darn cute.
(we were testing lighting and backgrounds. backgrounds have been making me crazy lately!
just playing at this point since our evolved project does not include a nail at all.
the scientist recording her data. she did a really good job! she wrote "p" for "popped" and "0" for "landed." she was attentive and ready to work. and she was patient as her project evolved. i give this scientist two thumbs up!
ps - her hypothesis was proven true that no matter the surface, hard or soft, wet or dry, the vast majority of the bubbles popped. :)
