this is my lighthouse! my ghost light!
as laura and i have been lighthouse planning for several years now, whenever this lighthouse comes up i always thought i'd been there. it's really weird, i don't know, but now i've been to my lighthouse! yay!
it was just a little windy up there!

trying to find a spot to get a good shot of the whole light and us wasn't easy. the way the sun was shining was making it difficult. we had found a bench and stood on that to see if it would work.
it did!

l - view was gorgeous, exhausting
s - cute door at top, gusty up there, almost blew off my sunglasses. the wind and the view combined with the adrenaline from climbing made me emotional!
(awww, i didn't know that till just now, love it!)
and for good measure. this is the most unattractive angle. ever.
