addie has been loving the 14 days of valentines and was so excited to have the last day scavenger hunt this morning. she was so excited that she woke delaney up so they could hunt early. :/ because of frankie's recent sickness, we decided to skip soccer this morning. matt and i woke up not feeling 100% either, so that contributed to that decision too.
i like to make them run and down the stairs for their clues. i'm sweet like that.

searching everywhere! this clue was "where pipsqueak lives."
delaney was still "asleep" throughout the whole hunt. it's a fun little game we play every morning. i usually even get her dressed while she's "asleep."

it was elsa's ice palace legos. they spent most of today playing with them. score!
my neck, shoulders, and head were seriously hurting by the time they'd finished their scavenger hunt and i felt generally achy all over. i know that's how the vomit bug has started for several people, so i went to bed to wait for it to start. then the doorbell rang… duh, duh, duh! we all love the doorbell! it was flowers!
flowers, a teddy bear, and chocolates. the note said:

matt got me my favorite perfume and a sweet card, and bubba got me two of my favorite candy bars. my family is awesome!
i slept most of the morning. i woke up feeling less achy, although my neck, shoulders, and head are still hurting. i felt like i was waiting to get really sick all day, but thankfully it never happened. hoping this is the end of it. it's been a lazy, lazy day. poor christian was babysitting for a neighborhood family this morning when he started feeling sick. he came home and threw up several times. he's been in bed all day too. poor guy even had to cancel his date for tonight. february has been a brutal month for most of our ward family, this year and last! we're all looking ahead to springtime and open windows. we are ready for some healthy days ahead!
