i wish i could say that i had taken the above picture of the new dorp lighthouse, but no.
unfortunately, we were not able to get anywhere near this little cutie.
this is how we viewed this light:
just down this cute little culdesac is a long driveway with a cute little treasure at the top.
a treasure they won't let anyone enjoy. :/
i was the only one that said anything about this one, and all i sad was:
"sadness..."
here they've done up this cute lighthouse and renovated it, it's a historic landmark, and they don't let anyone enjoy it. it just seems backwards to me.
i would have totally gone up and seen what we could see, maybe talk to someone. but these ladies are a voice of reason, thankfully.
doing the "laney." that's how sad i was.
but really, someday i would like to climb to the top of this beauty and see the view. i'm sure it's stunning.
