Summer 2018 Day #35

We said goodbye to half our crew today and made our way to our old home in New Mexico. The great summer adventure is winding down.

This little New Mexican has been so excited to see the enchanting land of her birth. 🌶

It was so gross when we pulled over to take our welcome to New Mexico sign picture, as soon as alexis and Addie opened the door the found a dead fox, or some other large animal. 🤢 we drove up a little so we didn’t have to see the poor thing.
Frankie stayed back at the ranch with Nanny, so it was just Lu and I and these two twinners.👯‍♀️
We stopped off in Roswell to say what’s up to some aliens. 👽

The alien museums are so lame, they’re like science fair project quality.

It was fun to see the cheese and the little girls are super into interesting and mysterious stories.
Quick stop at our amazing elementary school. 👩‍🎨

My second and third year teaching. They were good and hard and busy and learning years.

They changed so much and added a cool theater. I’d have loved to see the inside!

It would have been so fun for the little girls to go to school at the Arts Academy. I think they’d have loved it.
And the hospital where we brought this bouncing baby girl into the world. She says Clovis is everything she ever dreamed it would be. 😂 into the world. She says Clovis is everything she ever dreamed it would be. 😂

These were good years for Lu too! 5th grade to 7th.

Right before we moved Bahama Bucks opened. Super fine shave ice with all the fun flavors. My favorite is a Bahama Mama, it has ice cream in the middle, wedding cake and a fun fruity flavor like guava or mango, and then cream on top. I could have one every day!

So good!
I call this one “The nerdy tourist.”

We drove by our old house and all around town. Addie was so happy.
It was good to our family!

Allsups is to New Mexico what Wawa is to the east coast. 💕
