Day #125-126

My dad came over yesterday and played some checkers and chess with delaney. She hasn’t won yet, but she still enjoys it, so that’s good.

I beat the crew at Clue and we also played several rounds of Codenames. It’s fascinating to see the connections people make with the words. I gave the clue “Sunday” and wanted Delaney and Addie to get “church” and “angel,” and Delaney immediately pointed to “park,” because we often go on walks and sometimes stop at the park on Sundays. 🤷‍♀️ It kind of makes sense.

We worked on putting the upstairs back together and Delaney wanted to recreate this sweet baby picture. I got all the pictures put back up and the girls rooms are almost done.

We made breakfast for dinner and then Alli took the girls for a nighttime walk and park time while I did the dishes, it was so nice! We finished watching Life is Beautiful about the holocaust.

Today we made our masks. Alli was super patient and they all turned out really well.

We did an adult size for Addie which ended up being too big, but the little girls was too small. We’ll make one more in between sizes to fit her. She complained the least and was obviously the most independent little seamstress.

We hit up the pool. Delaney was anted to figure out taking pictures with my Apple Watch and turns out we’re not very good at it.

See? 😂

Delaney didn’t want to give up. It’s a pretty cool feature of the watch and will help with group selfies.

Tonight Allie made buffalo chicken dip and we came over to papa’s to watch The Maltese Falcon. Papa got the girls some treats and they were so excited. Getting gifts is always so fun!
