representing

yesterday we went to a new park for playgroup.
frankie was all dolled up in yellow for yellow day for pre-k color week.
climbing like a big girl. :) we had lunch at the park and then i took frankie to school.
delaney and i came home for a few minutes and then left to pick chris up for his driving test. delaney said "look! a turtle cloud!" she is so big and smart and fun! can you see the turtle? i totally can!
the bubba has been a busy bee with his little green machine. so happy!
addie doesn't love math. she loves art. and her teacher has had to remind her numerous times to not do art when she's doing math. several of her papers have said "please remember to just draw circles for math." here she had to write out her numbers, so she went through and wrote them really weird and randomly all over the page. not sure you can see it, but it was odd, and caused a short assignment to take a whole lot longer. :/
move over, big sissy lexi, there's a new bacon lover in town. and check out all that cinnamon sugar.  whoa.
last night the combined activity was a lip sync contest. since both my boys were "singing," we decided to go. it was so fun! the groupies played on the stage before things got going.
the seabase crew were the first performers. one of their guides in florida loved that old song brandy (you're a fine girl), so that's what they "sang."
chris is the one pointing to all the fine girls.
and really feeling the music. there was a lot of walking back and forth across the stage, but they did a really good job. i was impressed that they put all their teen insecurities aside and went for it. it's amazing what a couple kids with good attitudes can make happen. :)
christian also performed with the priests quorum as beyonce for an amazing rendition of all the single ladies. i was so proud, that i accidentally didn't record the epic performance. :( i did get this odd picture though. that's my white clad bey right thar. i wish i could say this was the first time he'd dressed as a girl for a performance, but i actually think this is the 3rd. whatever makes him happy. ;)
addie and rosie were so sweet!! for a little bit addie and charlie had their arms around each other too.  :)
last but not least, the ym's presidency did an amazing performance to the beastie boys intergalactic.
matt is the workman? on the left.
they had some energetic and smooth moves for some old beastie boy fans. :)
pretty impressive.
and best of all, he came home to me.
i am a lucky lady. ;)
chris won oversized sunglasses for best lead singer (i think?). that was after he'd won best group (i think?) for his seabase crew song. they won mini tiaras for that. i just love the way pete is looking at chris here. looking up to him? maybe. maybe not. :)
that's my winner!
addie's class filled their kindess jar, so today was pajama day. a free day of fun for her class. except that mrs. grabenstein couldn't wear her jams because she had to participate in the ice bucket challenge with ms eichel. but all the kids got to go watch, so that was fun too. :)
i bought these magnet clips for the fridge and the girls love playing with them! frankie came up with this amazing look. she's so cute!
i was texting daddy as we got ready for a nap, so i took a pic of us and it came out weird and fuzzy. we can handle weird though. precious moments with my sweetie girl. :)
and finally, a grumpy, sparkly faced addie (because she was in trouble she thrashed around on her bed for a few minutes in her fairy dust) finally deciding to finish her math page. now we only have about 10 more math pages to go. :/
