Happy fall!

This is a full on Quinn outfit. Everything but the shirt and bow are courtesy of cousin quinnie. Sometimes being the runt of the litter comes in handy. (; Also, this girl will not swallow what she does not want to swallow. Monkey girl with food in her mouth!
Yesterday was an exciting day for Addie because she started her first piano lesson! She's been so excited about this, I hope it lasts! She even practiced this morning before school and told me on the way to the bus stop that she really wants to change and practice more and play toys a little less. Praise, praise, praise!!! If she practices every day this week we decided we would go see Box Trolls at the theater. That's a total win-win for us because we were gonna take them to see that anyway. Sneaky-sneaky!
After piano we met up with Darlaina and girls at the park to plan out activity days. Recognition night is next month so plans are cooking. There have been the most beautiful sunsets lately! Pictures just don't do justice.
We got home and started the bedtime routines, but then this one facetimed us so we had to chat! She is loving college! I overheard (some might call it eavesdropping) her telling Chris later that "you can do, like, whatever you want and  no one cares," and "there's like, so many people and so many fun things to do!" And "I can't wait till you come to school here, I'll have a car and we'll be best friends!" It was so sweet and fulfilling as a mom. Especially that part about doing whatever she wants. (;

Anyhow, you know how Addie's like the safety inspector, she loves talking safety and fire alarms in particular are her specialty. So yesterday the fire alarm in lexi's apartment building went off and they all had to evacuate so the firemen could check it out. They cleared everything and everyone went back in, but then it went off again.

Addie's face as Lexi was telling the story was priceless. It was like surprise, amazement, awe, fascination, the whole gamut. Addie listened to the story, walked away, then came back and asked her to tell it again. It was classic.

We all had a nice time talking to sissy. There is a good amount of having fun and missing family going on in rexburg! And several visitors are heading her way, so she's all excited. (: also, one of her roomies is from Rupert, Idaho and her family has adopted her since we are so far away. Her dad even bought them matching byu sweatshirts. It helps that emmi's got a "super cute brother that just got back from his mission to some Spanish speaking country."

**As a side note, Lexi has had more generous friends than anyone I've ever met. People are always buying her things! I'm going to choose to see this as a positive because my cup is half full. Don't know how that crazy girl does it!
Nani sent Addie a new robe so Delaney inherited Addie's old one. She would not take it off last night! she wore it to bed and all night.
Hot stuff!!
This morning is a crisp fall day. Matts been going to work a little later so I went for a quick run. Now our first batch of pumpkin yumminess is in the oven. There were also about a million crows in our yard this morning. That yellow grass is the neighbors. Matt would never allow that! (Thankfully!) it's fall!
Since I'd sent mom the other two girls she asked for a picture of the frog. But of course!
The house is still chaotic, life is still busy, but it's fall and we are celebrating!

Also, Jen hatmaker is so funny, and this is so me. I really do try! But I accidentally got a fiery personality too and I forget to be darling almost all the time.
Room to grow!
