one last trek

trek was such a fun experience for the boy. i am so thankful to all the people that worked so hard to make it happen!
his sweet trek parents sent him a note. before i put it away for him, i snapped a shot of it because it was so nice. it says:

Chris -
I'm so happy you were in our family! You brought such fun and spirit to our group, and your always positive attitude was a huge asset to everyone when it got tough. You are an amazing young man, and you are stronger than you realize. You can light up any group and bring a smile to anyone. You were always willing to jump right in and help and I really noticed and appreciated you. I hope you will keep in touch.
Love,
Ma B

Chris,
You were the glue that kept our family together. Never once did you have a negative attitude. Without you our family would have been very different. You were always willing to help and one of our best assets. You have an amazing gift, your spirit! Never lose or compromise it. Please keep in touch.
Pa B
Ps - I do have a snapchat. Try to find me!
words can't express how much i love this. other adults are sooooo important in adolescents lives! this is the kind of teacher/mentor/leader that i want to be in my callings. so grateful. and proud of ma boy. :)
