yesterday alexis, addie, and laney stayed home from church. i felt a little bad leaving sick babies home with sick babies, but i was hoping that they would all just sleep and rest.

 matt worked. :(

when we got home laney was happy, mad, happy, mad.

she loves being outside so we went out in our pj's for awhile.

she loves shoes. :)

chris and i made some homemade horchata that earned 2 thumbs down. word to the wise - when making horchata do not blend all the rice, you will make a thick cross between horchata and rice pudding and it will not taste good.

 

frankie is still "museum" crazy, so we dug out night at the museum and watched it as a family. christian fried up many and many batches of french fries for all of us to enjoy. and then we played some games together.

laney was g-to-the-rumpy!

as soon as matt got home he took a turn with her, then me, then him, then me, and finally we just had to let her cry it out. poor baby.

but she's so sweet when she's sleeping. 

this morning addie helped make some pancakes.

she's such a big girl!

it was kid swap monday!

my kid swap got off to a late start because of the horchata fiasco, we ran to food lion to buy some decent horchata and then drop it off at the high school, then off to drop addie and frankie off at 10. then it was off to the dentist for a cleaning and my 5th root canal related appointment. matt met me there to hold delaney for my 2 1/2 (yes, 2 1/2!) hour appointment to "rebuild" my tooth.

oh, and i have 2 more cavities.

because why wouldn't i?

 

we got home after 1 and got on some paperwork organizing that's gotten away from me.

i really hate paperwork clutter.

 

things got quiet for awhile so i went in search of laney.

we took alexis to work at 4, but before we left laura showed up to drop off joseph (christian needed him to help make a video for school) and then she rode with me so we could talk about our girls trip coming up this weekend!

we've been out of printer ink for awhile now, so we stopped at wally and then laura needed to stop at target really quickly before we picked the girls up from sarah.

this poor, germy, 5th baby.

laura and i got everything almost planned out, lighthouses, here we come!

the rest of the mccombs clan came over for dinner and then matt got home and alexis needed to be picked up. our nights go by so quickly!

 

and a bonus shot that peter sent me from our movie night on friday. :)
