i had in my head that we moved into our house on may 27, 2009, and i've been planning to do a "4 years ago today was our first night in our new home..." kinda post. today i went back and actually looked at my blog (love reading my old blogs!) and we actually signed papers on may 22nd! oops.
we've brought two brand new baby daughters home to this house and shared too many to count happy, sad, and everything in between memories.
so whatever, 4 years and 4 days ago, was the first night we ever spent in our home on pensive street - the one whose name is still pending. lmk if you have any good ideas!
loved our house then, still love it now. although i wish i knew then what i know now. actually, i wish i knew a few months before then what i know now, we would have changed some things during building. c'est la vie, we will own another home some day! and then we'll take all the lessons we've learned from all the homes we've owned (all 2 of them!) and we'll make it our dream house. and then 4 years later we'll have a long list of things we wished we would have changed. you know, that's how it goes, i think.
i looooove living here. my favorite thing is that i can go any direction and be somewhere cool. beaches, mountains, monuments, big cities, lighthouses, amusement parks, i just really love it all. i love living on the east coast. i love the small town feel of st. marys county. i love the friends we've made. it's been a good 4 years. :)
