fun day

we had a fun saturday.

johnna had asked if frankie could got to her grandson landon's birthday party out in virginia for the day, so with one kid down, we part-ayed!

not really, but you know, it was fun.

 

we wanted to do something fun because little big sister was missing little sister.

all through out the day addie would say, 'let's check on frankie,' and 'when is frankie coming home?' it was pretty cute.

 

anyways, what do you do for fun with teens and a 4-year-old when you live in the sticks?

haircuts, of course.

and during.

in the mean time, frankie was on her way!

they stopped for food and snuggles.

even though she was gone all day i wasn't worried about her at all.

she loves johnna and she loves adventures, so i knew it would be all good.

and she loves her tongue, too.

in the mean, mean time, laney took a short early nap for daddy before being a needy miss. matt stayed home to work on a project for school. 4 more classes... only 4 more classes and we'll have a masters! not a second too soon!

after christian's haircut we headed over to the hair cuttery for the girls.

they had a long wait so we headed to bath and body works where miss applebee's bought addie this cute lip gloss and holder. she was missing frankie and we were all trying to make the day fun for her. :)

big sissy's turn!

she cut about 4 inches and it looks so healthy and nice now.

and finally it was addie's turn.

she was nervous about getting soap or water in her eyes.

she's had a haircut at home from auntie alli, and a couple of bang cuts (personally done), but this was her first haircut at a salon.

 so it was a big deal. 

she was so excited.

after her cute haircut she got a blowout.

she loved it and later told me that her haircut was her favorite part of the day. :)

i wanted a bob, which isn't quite what i got.

it's cute, but not what i had envisioned.

i'm still debating options.

it was raining so they ran and i thought it was just precious.

alexis hasn't tried much off their menu and i know it's fun to eat where you work.

all the while frankie was having fun at the yellow party with landon.

he got a yellow car and johnna sent me several videos of them cruising around.

she made it home by 11, tired, but refreshed from her 2-hour power car nap.

and she got totally spoiled with a tinkerbell doll and fairy blanket cause i'm a lame-o mom and didn't pack her one... oops!

a fun day was had by all!

except maybe poor matt... homework is not the most fun.
