there aren't that many perfect weather days, so when they happen i am always thankful to be outside and enjoy them. yesterday evening was perfect.
godzilla laney was busy switching between throwing sidewalk chalk into the grass and bushes and running away down the sidewalk.
whatever makes them happy, i guess...
at one point, addie wrote on laney's head with chalk, and there were perfect lines on her almost bald head.
pretty cool effect, in case you ever want to try it.
our benzie's aren't too good about going up our steep driveway. no need to worry when addie and frankie use their teamwork!
also, i love when they dress themselves.
we love this happy baby so much! she's such a big girl with skinned up summer knees.
christian even came outside and rocked in the rocking chairs with us for awhile. it was just so nice.
gotta soak up these days because pretty soon it will be too muggy and hot to want to hang out on the porch!

as it started getting dark, the mozzo's from across the street invited us over to enjoy some s'mores. matt asked if he minded if he took the kids and i stayed home to get dinner ready. since i was just warming up soup, i said "okay!" i'm sure i would have enjoyed the bonfire, but i also enjoyed the quiet. :)
