our last lighthouse of the day was to see the small remains of the price's creek lighthouse. it's located on private property so it can only be viewed from the ferry. we thought we would have to rush to catch yet another ferry, but as we were telling the bald head saleswoman our plans, she said we could see the remains from the ferry that we would be taking back to southport. we asked a few more people just to double check (none of whom knew anything about little dilapidated price's creek light) and then poised ourselves at the front of the ferry and kept our eyes peeled for the cute little lighthouse without it's top.
can you see her? all sad and lonely out there. we would visit you if we would price's creek lighthouse!
