strawberries!

our whirlwind mother's day trip was so fun, but it done wore me out! it took me a long time to get back into the swing of things, hence the no blogging. but life goes on, as full and fun as ever, and days must be blogged! so i'm going back in time, in no particular order. because the thought of doing one big fat chronological post makes me want to run and hide.

anywho, one day our playgroup went strawberry picking!

frankie and delaney wandered. there's d in the middle on the right, in her little pink dress. and yes, i know that i am mother of the year, letting my 15 month old meander through the strawberry fields. hey, i could see her the whole time, so whatevah.

then she threw a fit and sat down in the dirt. i had given up on keeping them clean by that point, so whatever. dirt washes off. :)

we picnicked and looked at animals and played. darlaina did another of her cut picstitches. yes, i am a photo thief and i don't care who knows it.

i was talking to addie about the strawberry farm and i told her that when we first moved here, (4 years ago!) that i had taken her there with our playgroup. so then i fished this old picture off of my blog. too bad i didn't get a picture of her on the john deere this time. there's always next year. :)

i'm also gonna make that elusive strawberry freezer jam next year.

then we were at gymnastics one day and one of the moms that we'd run into that day asked if i'd seen delaney's picture on the southern comfort farm's fb page. i had not! i had seen the owner take the picture, and i looked at her website, but it wasn't there. it was on fb!

she is a cute little berry picker. :)
