Day #30 and #31

The sibling “all nighhter” went well.

As always, Frankie was the first up. Chris went down to his room to sleep as soon as it started getting bright.

I woke the sleepyheads a little after 10. Tuesday was our first real school day. Frankie and Delaney both have 20’ish minutes of Language Arts and 30’ish minutes of math. They both hate the math, surprise, surprise. Addie has 4 subjects - Language Arts, Math, science, and SS.

It’s honestly not terrible, but both days took us till 3’ish to be completely done. That’s with sharing a laptop and iPad, each girl doing 30 minutes of piano, and Frankie and I tutoring for an hour. So not awful, but busy.

Delaney and Ellie got to FaceTime today. They were super silly, lots of offering each other snacks and playing Battleship.

Yesterday we had our first RS Additional meeting. We talked about general conference and caught up. We had 16 women join and I thought it was nice. Tonight we had a Stake RS meeting with the Stake RS presidency and all the presidents. We’re all trying to figure out what will best work for our wards and how we can meet the needs of the sisters, while also managing our own family stress and chaos. It was nice to hear ideas and know we’re not alone.

The girls have been very silly and giggly during scripture and prayer time. I don’t want this to be a miserable time, and also the silly giggling isn’t appropriate either. Annoying phase.

Tomorrow we’ll have our second covid birthday. Thankfully Matt has 0 expectations because I have nothing for him. There’s only so much magic I can create, and after Frankie’s birthday and Easter, I’m magic’ed our.  I’ll make nice meals all day and the girls are already set to walk on his back and give us the spa routine. What are you gonna do? 🤷‍♀️
