stingray point lighthouse

the last lighthouse on our trip was the stingray point replica. this lighthouse is not always manned, so we had to squeeze her in at the tail end of our trip so that the lightkeeper would be there to let us in.
this is located at a marina, and the woman in charge lives there on a boat with her dogs. what a life!
they did a gorgeous job replicating this lighthouse!
and after all of those 8 lights, this is the first actual lighthouse we got to climb all weekend!
(lightships don't really count)
now we have seen 13/15 lights in virginia.
the last two are on the eastern shore, and we will see them this summer!
so lucky to have found this crazy lighthouse loving friend!
