okay, i know this blog is all over the place, but whateva. back to the obx! one of the things i'd wanted to do since last year was go crab hunting with flashlights. we saw tons of people doing it last year and it looked so cute and fun. so we got a group together and off we went!
there were sooooo many crabbies!!!

it was fun to see them bury themselves in the sand. so crazy!
this was just before christian tickled my toes with his fingers to make me think a crab crawled over my foot. freaked me right out!
and then a few minutes later he did it to amy.

i don't even know what he's doing.
but they're cousins, identical cousins in every way...
not really but i used to watch patty duke, so i always think of that song when i write about cousins.
by the end of our crab hunting we were all ready to not have to be so careful every place we walked. especially after christian's tricks, it got a little nerve wracking.
and the babes were done, so it all worked out.
