matt's company has a fun night at the blue crabs stadium every summer. they reserve a room and have a nice buffet and i look forward to it every year. frankie took a long and late nap the day we went, and when i went to wake her up, this is how i found her.

when matt went in to wake her up he said "oooh, mommy's gonna be mad," and she hid her hand behind her back. then he took her into the bathroom and when she saw her face, she just kind of giggled, her cute little frankie giggle.

grandpa went and visited an old soldiers home in dc for the night and had to miss the game.
he had his own fun though. :)

frankie watched the players get ready for the game. these are the doors that go out to the private seating area they reserve for us. it's so fun!

she can be ferocious when she's hungry. or tired. or mad cause we looked at her the wrong way.
of course addie packed some art stuff, for just in case she got bored.
it was a hot, hot day!

chris and jordan took the girls to play in the play area, then they came back to eat, then matt took them to play, then they came back to watch the game.
and eat popcorn.
the third time they wanted to hit the play area i figured i should go with. addie stopped to dance to some music on our way. that's a girl with moves after my own heart!
they have a big playground that they charge kids to play on, but matt's company gives all the kids a wrist band so they can play for free. we love free!
they have a rock climbing wall and addie decided she wanted to climb.
she did so good! brave girl climbed and climbed for at least half an hour! they were
deflating all their bouncy houses and the girl said she could just keep
climbing until they were done. and keep climbing she did!
i was so surprised and impressed! towards the end as she got tired i'd give her a little boost and she climbed well above my head.
as we left the play place we saw pinch, the mascot! addie was the only one brave enough to go say hi.
frankie finally decided it was okay to stand close to him, but she would only stare at him. and laney was having none of it.
after we visited with him, we hung out watching the game and waiting to catch a foul ball. frankie just stood and watched him.
he saw her watching and started dancing and playing with her.
it was super cute. :)
we finally meandered back to our seats via the cotton candy stand.
delaney is obsessed with glasses.
sunglasses, reading glasses, play glasses, she loves 'em all.
it was a very fun night! we came home full, happy, sticky, and tired.
it's been a wonderful summer!
