Weekend stuff

On Saturday we made cookies. Delaney thought the vanilla smelled good, so she snuck a taste. Only it didn't taste good at all. Haha, tough lesson to learn!
The rest of the day was spent at home, the pool, and doing Rs visits. We thought about going on a family adventure, but it was so hot and we had a lovey day at home.

During RS on Sunday there was a loud crack of thunder and the heavens opened. I can't ever remember hearing thunder at church. It was cool. Lily got baptized after church. So sweet to see these cute little 8 year olds making these amazing covenants.

After the baptism it was poring rain! I got drenched. Like, wet dog drenched. Sent this to lex. She likes when I throw the peace signs.
We met at darrows for a yummy dinner to celebrate lily.
Kid room!
It was one of those dinners where everything is so good you wish you could just keep eating. And it was nice to spend quality time with our friends.

As soon as we got home, we Mormon paraded with the streeters. Last late Mormon parade before school starts. And these two blondies were best buddies.
While we were parading, Bubba went over to the Davis' for Brian to open his mission call. He's going to Taiwan! It's so crazy that these kids are growing up so fast! Praying this will rub off on Christian and we'll be opening our own mission call soooon!
