Newspapers, braces, and skating

Our baby boy made the newspaper! He told me they had taken a picture of him getting off the bus, and it's so fun that they used it in the graduate section of our small town newspaper.
At our last dental visit Dr. Hawkins told us that Christian has a tooth that is completely turned and he needed braces, again. Both kids had braces in NM, but we moved before they had totally finished. Super.
We talked about it and decided this would be the cheapest time he would ever be able to get braces because he's still covered by our 2 dental insurances.
So we went for it! Delaney held Christians hand for moral support.
They were being so precious.
She loved the sample braces and the different colors available for brackets and bands. Who knew orthodontist offices were so very fun?
Still smiling!
He got clear braces on top and silver on the bottom. You really can barely see the top.
The tech spent a long time explaining to Chris how to care for his teeth and brand new braces. So far he's busted several wires and had a loose bracket. Other than that, it's been great!
One day Frankie got to go to a fun skate party at the roller rink. I didn't go for some reason, but Megan sent me these cute pics.
