Today was cool and crisp and felt so good after several hot days, so we threw the windows open and enjoyed it. Franks went to alex' house for a morning play and lanes and I did what we do all morning. (Cuddles, breakfast, books, iPad, dishes)

It was a just an ordinary day. Bills, diapers, lunches, a walk, phone calls, Rhonda running, dinner, and church.

Tonight I led some team building games with our cute A days girls and we had a good time, despite some wild ones. The age gap between the 8 and 11 year olds was a wide one tonight.  I want for them what I want for my girls, for them to be kind to other girls. We talked about the "crab mentality," how you don't have to put a cover on a bucket of crabs, because mostly they'll just keep each other from getting out. And then we talked about how our church is such a beautifully safe place where women don't compete, but work to build one another up, which in turn makes us all better. I want so much for them to understand that beautiful concept. That popping her balloon won't make yours go any higher.

Here they were *silently* putting themselves in height order. They worked together so sweetly.
am eternally thankful (feeling the love!) for these normal, happy days.
