Spring break ‘23 - day #6

I had this universal studios day post all written out and then it got deleted. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

So this will be abbreviated. 

We copied Darrow’s and spent a day at Harry Potter World. 

It was hot and crowded but we had a blast!

The girls were game for whatever and loved the whole experience. 

We rode Escape Gringotts first. 

They have the best queue! And the ride is pretty awesome too. 

A little NOLA ❤️ for Alli. 

We had seen on a video that you could get a message from the phone booths, but we couldn’t figure it out and then people started lining up so we gave up. 

We tried all the butter-beers. Adi and I love the hot one. So yummy!

We checked out the park and saw some cooking show getting ready to be filmed. 

It’s hot when that dragon breaths fire!

We’d planned lunch at the 3 Broomsticks, so we headed to the Hogwarts Express. 

Harry Potter world is so fun, I just wish there was more to it. 

We waited for our table. 

We had planned to eat at the 3 broomsticks around the same time, but that was about it. We were delighted when they brought us to the table right next to our buddy’s!

We did some window shopping before ours and Hagrids big ride. 

Cuteness everywhere you look. And did I mention how warm it was?

Hagrids roller coaster is so fun! It doesn’t go high, so I can dig it, but it does go backward so I can only dig it once. The girls loved it too, although I’m not sure they’d ride it again immediately. 

We brought a backpack so we had to use their lockers a few times. I had forgotten why Kori had us bring fannypacks last time. 🤦‍♀️ 

It was hot and busy after this so we headed to try to cool off. 







The girls picked a few souvies at the Jurassic store. 

We decided on Bluto’s Barge to cool off and get nice and wet. 

And we succeeded. It was fun and we all got nicely wet, not soaked. 

We met up with the crew to ride the Hippogriff roller coaster. 

The line was long but it was fun to catch up and hear how Darrow’s day had gone. 

Kori and crew arrived while we were riding so she grabbed a few pictures. 

We decided to get lunch at a food court, so it was back on to the Hogwarts express. 

It was fun to eat together and get to see Kori again. Our Florida friend!

We’d been in line for men in black when the ride got shut down, so we had a fast pass for any ride left to us and we decided on Escape Gringotts again for our last ride. 

Then we ran to Fortescue’s for ice cream. 

Which we cut in line and grabbed a spot with our crew. 🤷‍♀️

It was finally starting to cool off and crowds were thinning out. 

We chatted with Earl and the shrunken head at the Knight Bus. 



And then it was time to go home. It was fun to go with dad and with friends. Hopefully we can go back soon!
