Cookies and Calvert Cliffs

Matt took the jolly green for a tuneup on Thursday, so Nola picked our crew up for our Friday morning adventure. Adi let them know that it was Crumbl’s one year anniversary and that they were giving away free chocolate chip cookies and Nola went straight there. No one was there and it was awesome! Free cookies taste the best!

The kids played at the playground there for awhile and then we headed out for our hike to the beach.

We loved the lily pads!

It hasn’t been warm, so we didn’t wear suits, but the boys got fully in and I’m sure the girls would have too.

There was a huge ship out at the offshore site that we all watched for awhile.

The girls take weird pictures. *D*

Adi looks like a baby version of herself.

Nola and I caught up while the kids played. We were so happy that they all got on so nicely!

We all squeezed in for a cliff selfie and then a nice young lady offered to take one for us.

We stayed till after 1:00, and half of us had no more water. I’m usually good at bribing extra water, but it’s the first week of summer and I’m off my A game. It was a fabulous adventure day and we’ve got another planned soon!

Matt and I went to pick up the JGG and popped over to Crumbl for door prizes.

We won a keychain, tumbler cup, and bumper sticker. I also won a bumper sticker, but we definitely didn’t need 2. (Frankie the slug stayed home)

We also took the worlds worst picture. πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ˜‚ We ate hamburgers from our freezer since our garage fridge died and now our other freezers are overflowing and had a family night in.

We got our Yum Box from Turkey on Saturday and Adi divided us each up a bowl.

Yum Box day is always fun!

We picked Lori up and then went to Iris and Ivan’s baptism. Frankie gave the talk on baptism and Adi played piano for one song and it was a really beautiful evening. Being part of a whole family accepting the gospel has been such a beautiful experience, we just love their family!
