delaney is a mess. she's at that age.

our days of christmas buddy is awesome! day 3 we got three cute candles. our "secret friend" calls and plays a christmas carol and that's how we know we've got a treat outside. sooo cute!

have i mentioned that delaney is a mess lately? well she is. i went in her room one night and found this. she has a space heater in her room so it stays pretty warm, so i just slipped a diaper on her and called it good. she was super asleep and didn't wake up at all.

on thursday i went shopping with my little elves.

we stopped to take a picture on santa's bench at the exchange. they are not the funnest shopping buddies, but they sure are cute. we went to the exchange and commissary and then everyone was d-o-n-e.

by the by, how do you feel about that word, selfie? matt hates it. i thought it was cute until i found out he hated it. now i'm indifferent.

 

addie's bus driver called one day to let me know addie was crying when she got on the bus and just said she wanted her mom. the bus driver just wanted to let me know so i could be outside waiting for her. sweet, huh? addie got off and ran to hug me with tears in her eyes. all she said was that she missed me and wanted to snuggle. i don't know if she's nervous about me leaving, or sad about harvey, or what. she's never acted like this before. i assured her we could facetime whenever she wanted and she seemed happy with that. :)

ps - i love when they come home wearing things on their heads! seriously, so cute.
