Checking in

My last few days have been a whirlwind of parties, shopping, work, laundry, cooking, and serving, with a healthy dose of crazy mixed in.

It's been fun, stressful, tiring, spiritual, exhausting, enlightening and difficult.

It is December, after all. The culmination of the year, the time of reflection of our Savior's birth, and also an emotional, stressful time too.

For our family it's a month of anniversaries. The month Matt and I met and had our first date. The month grandma Ray took her last breath. And now also the month of sweet baby Harvey's birth and passing.

Anyhow, just some tired mama reflections.

And also this sweet picture. Lexi gets out of school at 11:30, and one nice thing has been that she enjoys putting laney down for her nap. About once a week Lexi will take her up and fall asleep with her in the recliner in laneys room (best baby purchase ever). Lex and I had an appointment Thursday afternoon and when I went to get her I happened to catch this sweet moment.

Precious.
