another rando...

i've been trying to make shorter posts. so even when i'm behind i divide them up. i don't know, it's easier for my tired brain to handle.

on the fifth day of Christmas our secret friends brought us 5 chocolate bears. :)

on the sixth, 6 ibc root beers.

and on the 7 seventh, 7 oranges. i didn't get a pic of the oranges before delaney started in on them, but here is the cute tag from yesterday. so super fun! i'm bummed i'm gonna miss the last week of our fun surprises!

on saturday morning i dropped chris and addie off at the aina's. chris and tony went to help a home teaching family with some odd jobs before he goes in for surgery tomorrow. i snapped this as i was backing out. don't mind his underwear hanging out. i almost didn't use this, but then i thought, maybe one day i'll want him to see how silly he looked with his pants down low? (he's really not that bad, he's just bending over so it's exaggerated). i can't forsee that happening, but who knows.

while sarah took the girls to ballet, i was able to go do the last of my christmas shopping. first i had to fill up the jolly green giant, and she just looked so cute all decked out like rudolph that i had to take some pictures.

totally worth taking my own gift home, right? i.love.it. probably too much. like, i'm sad that i'm gonna miss a week of driving this bad rudolph all around town. lucky matt.

tomorrow chris will run in his first indoor track meet. he tried on his uniform today and wowza! that's good stuff! i am super bummed to miss out on tomorrow. i am thankful i get to go be with family too though. just too many good places to be.

 

also, rainbow ellie sparkles forgot to fly back to the north pole last night. when i came downstairs this morning the girls informed me that she had not left her spot last night and doh! we had to take 2 cars to church anyway, so after they left i moved rainbow and wrote a quick swirly note that said she had to fly back this morning due to bad weather. good cover, right? tonight she's chilling with the new barbies in town. chris is in charge of keeping her straight while i'm gone, i hope he's up for the challenge of remembering her, cause it's not exactly easy. i don't think they'll buy the bad weather bit again, they were already pretty skeptical. at least addie was, the blond one is happy with anything. :)

the primary kids sang at church today. i love christmas hymns. ginny gave a really nice lesson and it was so nice to just feel the spirit. twas a good day.
