We're leaving on a jet plane. But before any self respecting southern Marylander leaves on a jet plane, they have to drive the 2 hours up to the airport. We got delaney up at 4 so we could make it on time. She was so tired. Her car seat in the Camry was front facing, so she didn't sleep at all.
We beat the traffic, parked the car, a nice man helped us with our big bag, and off on the shuttle we went. Little miss adventure loved the idea of the bus, but then the reality was a little much. She buried her head in my shoulder for some cuddles. Ps - it was 30 degrees! Coldie!
We got here super early and got situated at our gate with an hour and 45 minutes to spare. Better than to be late, and I think if we'd left later we would have hit traffic.
Matt's daughter and I are ready to go! (On account of how much she loves airplanes and all) since I got just over 3 hours sleep and d got up so early I'm hoping for a nice nap on our way to Kansas City and then on to Seattle.
