Summer 2018 Day #69

Back to 2018 wrap up.

Family fun in Tennessee! So grateful to Brad and Lea for their hospitality, and so happy to spend time with so much family!

We loved being on the boat!

Brad gave all the kids so many fun rides!

B&L bought tons of groceries and we all helped with meals and clean up.

The next morning cousin Brad showed us the lay of the lake.

And then on to some sightseeing! These sisters love each other sooo much.

We fed some turtles and fish.

And also toured some amazing houseboats.

The girls are saving their money.

We worked on a puzzle all weekend.

It’s so close to being done!

All the devices. 😂

Breakfast out on the deck.

And more family at our famous viewpoint.

I don’t even know. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

These girls love their big cousins!

Another famous spot from the video. 🎥

That afternoon we picked up some more Rays and headed out onto the lake. Frankie got a driving lesson from cousin Brad. She did great!

We played all day, and at night enjoyed the sunsets and full moon. Such gorgeous country!

We slept with the M&C Rays in the upstairs loft.

Sunset Dock.

We checked out this cool swim spot and rope swing.

And some out of order pictures (2020 note - they’re all out of order). On Friday we took a hike into the Bunkhum Cave.

It was really something else.

👯‍♀️

The lay-days of the weekend. Trying to keep all the boys in line.

And Brad’s angels. 😂

But they’re cousins, Identical cousins all the way! 🎶

And our lovely hosts with grandpa, and all the grands that were able to come.

At first the littlest sweet baby Ray was not a fan of the tube, or even the boat, but she kept on trying.

Delaney’s first happy ride! She even threw her hands up. After that, she only wanted to be on the tube.

Checking out the turtles and fish again.

And enjoyed another beautiful sunset.

Cousin Lea was an instant favorite! Delaney even had her first successful tube ride with her. 😍 These two were also the winning team of some family games. And D was such a happy little winner! (We’re working on being a gracious winner, and loser)

So long for now, Grandpa! We love you!

Morning game time with Lea’s fun new games!

That night Brad shared family stories and pictures. It was really a special time and I’m grateful to have been part of it. 💕

These two were fast friends! They chatted for a few minutes as they said their goodbyes. 💕

Always climbing.

I was lucky enough to be involved in the best wipeout of the weekend? Cosette, Isabel, Evan, and I enjoyed Brad’s best driving. 😂 It was really fun for me as I was on the side that tipped. Cosette, on the opposite end landed hard on the water and that was a little painful.

That trip will always remind me of Luke Bryan’s Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset video and watching it is so fun to be able to see all of these familiar spots. It’s a catchy one!
