Sunday and Christmas Eve

Today was 60 degrees and it was sooo warm! After Stake Conference Alecia and I had a Vt mtg and went to visit some new sisters. One wasn’t home, one wasn’t thrilled to see us, and one was super friendly. Matt and the girls made waffles and then he took them for a walk and let me rest since I’d just gotten home. Good guy. 💕

On Christmas Eve our family had the privilege of delivering the donations we’d collected from the ward to the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

They have fish and birds on display and the girls enjoyed checking them out.

It wasn’t what I’d hoped it to be, donating there wasn’t simple, but we did have the chance to visit with some of the veterans and wish them Merry Christmas.

We came home and prepped some food quickly. We met at McCombs for dinner with ainas. We did appetizers and maybe played a few games.

We came home and the girls spread their reindeer food.

It has rained the last few Christmas eves, so strange.

Soooo goofy!

The girls were so excited to open their jams! The adults, Bubba, matt, and i had jams too, but I was a terrible picture taker, or non picture taker, and unfortunately no one else takes pictures either.

Christmas love!

There wasn’t a whole lot of building or prep work. Just putting together stockings and putting out gifts. It was a lovely Christmas.
