Day of rest

Our sabbath started at 5 as Matt got ready to head out of town. He was on his way by 6 and I headed back to bed. Zzz. Then there was a 9:00 meeting at church. Then home to do girls hair and drop off the truck for Bubba to be able to take them to church (I rode with Joni). I'm so grateful to have Chris home while Matt is gone. He's already been worth his weight in gold. Headed back to church for WC at 11:30, and then finally Chris brought the girls to church at 1.

It was a nice day at church. Our poor ward has been really put through the ringer lately. 3 families have/are moving within a 3 week time span, with another one coming up this month. 2 deaths in the last 2 months. And 3 families have had a family member having surgery within 2 weeks. So much need and hurting. I wish there were more hours in the day. 

Day of rest continued with dinner and then a visit to Sister Tanner's to plan the funeral for Friday. We had a good visit with her, and on the way home had a good visit with Sister Sanchez. I love getting to know the sisters better. It's the best. 

Final day of rest activity was FHE. Bubba and Laney made brownies and Bubba taught a nice and short lesson on D&C section 4, which he recited almost word for word. When i got home, Chris was blasting Dixie Chic's and doing dishes. Love the boy!!!

And love this girl who has been spending time reading to her stuffies. So prec. 

And love the college gal, Addie and Frankie. And I guess Matt too. ((;
