Parts

Best part of my day:

Going on a run with my girls while they biked, read, and picked leaves off trees. We went up and down the parkway, sometimes, to keep them in view, I ran back and forth between trees. (I've lost most of my fear of looking like an idiot) I have traditionally hated running on the parkway. it's a long and boring road, and the only one in and out of the neighborhood, so I've literally been on it a million and one times. But today was great. Running turning point?

I drank this whole thing today. A gallon of Orange and basil infused water, yummy.

Worst part of my day:

Driving to Great Mills to see Chris run in SMAC (Southern MD Athletic Conference) only to find out that they started 30 minutes late, then after only going for about 30 minutes, they took a "15" minute break (that was more like 30 minutes). We had an awesome ARM planned, so I had a small window of time that I could be there before I had to leave, and I missed him.

Delaney was too tired to walk, and she's got a wonderful big sister.

Most embarrassing part of my day:

When, at 4:00 Brenda showed up to pick up vt cards still needing to be passed out, and I had just come down in only a towel because I had just run and just taken a shower and knew I'd be late if I didn't get the rice cooking. I hid by the basement door while I debated my options, before finally coming around the corner in all of my towel glory and apologizing profusely. I never go down without at least a robe on, so it's fitting that the first time I do, I get a visitor. We both had a good laugh, and I'm reminded again how awesome I am.

Adam came over to play and he was totally digging on Chris. (He was there pre-shower)

Most spiritual part of my day:

Talking to the girls about what to do when they are scared. We passed by Moll Dyer Rd, and I stupidly pointed it out to them, then they wanted to hear the story again, and then Delaney couldn't stop talking about how scared she was of the legend and how she couldn't stop thinking about it. We decided they could sing a primary song, cuddle with stuffies, say a prayer, and think about something fun. They are such sweethearts when they're sweet.

Delaney got her hair caught in the curtain because she knows I like that kind of thing.

Most enlightening part of my day:

The RS additional meeting (ARM) we had tonight focusing on the plague of pornography. I wish our children (and husbands and friends) didn't have to deal with this. But we do and we need to be vigilant and on the same page and there to help each other without judgement.

Little miss balance bike has been getting brave, so she biked down the hill that is our driveway, and things got out of control. One of my fav things about her is when she pops up with her thumb in the air and yells "I'm ok!" The grass was wet, so she even skidded, it was pretty adorable.

Most delicious part of my day:

Basil pesto and tomato quinoa. Yummy.

Sleepiest part of my day.

Right now. Zzzzzzz.
