Day #240-#241

We were reading a book about Jane Austen yesterday and delaney was like, what, I know that picture! She ran and grabbed one of the British bills Darlaina had sent us. Such a fun connection.
On Tuesday evening we all got dressed up and went for a night on the town. Matt’s business gave each employee a nice gift card in lieu of a Christmas party. We decided to try the new restaurant Sweet Bay in downtown Leonardtown. We ate outside and thankfully it was an absolutely beautiful day. Frankie ordered shrimp and grits, and then ate lots of everyone else’s fries, and only her shrimp. The grits were super delicious and I finished her leftovers for brekkie this morning.

The girls finished eating and then played in the little courtyard on the swing seat. My dad grabbed this fun shot after dinner.

All dolled up for our fancy dinner! Bubba was a few minutes late and papa is always the photog.

Papa showed Frankie his panoramic feature on his new camera. Unfortunately we didn’t get any pictures of all of us together. Dinner was absolutely delicious and v expensive. It was so fun to be able to act fancy for a night and it was fun to treat the whole crew.

We got home and I hopped right onto our RS activity zoom where Alecia taught us to make her delicious rolls. Alli had actually made the dough that afternoon because I tutored, and then we worked together to roll them out. So yummy!

Governor Hogan gave a press conference and tightened some restrictions. Numbers all over the country are pretty out of control right now.

It’s rained almost all day today, and then this evening we had a thunderstorm. In November. It’s all bananas. It is Veterans Day, but I had the girls still do some school and Frankie and I tutored. Abby asked my dad to participate in a special veterans day’s activity for the YM/YW, so he and Addie hopped on at 7. I didn’t listen in, but Addie said it went well. We love our veterans!

Tonight we found a frog on our front window and the girls size anted a picture. Exciting stuff.
