Day #239

Another Monday. Some ministering interview, some school, a mini nap, some talk planning, some cleaning out of the fridge fir a makeshift dinner - French toast, melting sweet potatoes, apples, and mozerella roasted squash. Random, but all eaters were happy

Delaney is really sweet. She put this turkey out to be like an elf on the shelf. She thrives off of little fun gifts and notes. I am working on remembering to love her that way.

She’s so sweet, and also kind of a devil? She drew this on one of the ladies on her school program.

Alli brought some old camera papa had given her and the little girls were so excited. Hopefully we can get them to work.

Matt sanded our bathroom walls in preparation to paint the. Last. Room. In. Our. House. Y’all, the very last. We painted the ceilings a long time ago and just needed to take down all the fixtures and prepare to paint. We need to paint and buy new light fixtures and it’ll be a whole new room. Cannot wait to burn my awful paint outfit and hang up my rollers for a long while. 2 years, 50+ gallons of paint, and 1 surgery later, we are almost there. The latest house issue is a lovely rotten egg smell in our basement. It’s been coming and going every few days. Matt thinks he can flush out the sump pump and that will fix it. I also read it could mean a leak or another issue and I am praying it’s not. Be an easy fix, please!!! 🙏🏻

This girls and I redid the decopauged letters for their rooms. That’s a task I’ve put off for... 3 years’ish? I ordered letters for Delaney’s room and will do hers as soon as they come in. Amy and fam are coming November 22 and it’s just the catalyst we need to get our projects done. Hopefully our basement will be done smelling like a rotten egg by then.
