Visitors and fruit bowls

On Sunday, Alexis and Tito met us at church. That was a special treat. Then I even got to go to RS with Lexi, since Maggie was my only 11-year-old primary kid, and she promised she'd behave. (;

After church, brenna came over too. we had lunch, and Christian fried up some of his famous French fries. Only, since he's been crabknocking, he also very fancily sprayed them with apple cider vinegar for some boardwalk fries. Yum!

Then the whole gang watched each birthday movie we have so far. Lexi's 15th, bubba's 15th, and my 35th. The little girls kept saying "am I born yet?" And then when they were finally born they were very excited. And they've each requested one. After all the family movie fun, we watched Spy Kids and the big kids reminisced on their childhood. A few nights later, Matt was putting Laney to bed and she very solemnly told him, "spy kids are real." Love her.

All the girls love Tito.
Monkey see, monkey do. And Frankie has decided she needs glasses. Just can't see a thing without them.
That night we had our weekly Mormon parade, then after, everybody came over for fruit bowls. Literally, fruit bowls. I bought these fun sorbet in fruit bowls at BJ's, but I didn't realize they are real fruit. Frankie and ashby had real coconut shells, and Addie and Arden had real lemon peel. Everyone thought that was so cool.
It was a lovely and relaxing day to recharge spiritually and physically. I love Sunday's.
