COVID log #3

Today was a much better day. In one of our recent Relief Society classes Amy Henderson quoted a friend of hers that said she only works out on days she wants to feel good, and Amy expanded that by saying she only reads the Book of Mormon on days she wants to feel good. So basically, yes, true. So this morning I got up and went for a run.  automatically felt better. We stuck to our loose plan and it was a really great day.

When I got home I found a note form a leprechaun! “Look in your nightstand! Joy!”

I found a “Happy St. Pat’s Day! Joy!” card with 2 quarters attached to it. Delaney is the sweetest!

5)3 little leprechaun also toilet papered the girls rooms - don’t worry, we’re still going to use the tp.

Then D and I hurried to make green toilet water and green milk, separately. It was fun to work with her to make the day fun for Addie and Frankie.

We met up with dad for a hunt for shamrocks around the LG at 1. The girls roller bladed, and that was rough with D.

By the time we got to the green her back and legs hurt and she just really wanted her shoes. So we went back and traded blades for a bike.

The girls cut out 4 leaf clovers and made “I love St. Pats” signs for our front windows. Celebrating St. Patrick’s day together, separately.

This cutie enjoyed green beans in a green bowl with a green spoon today. Little ginger Irish boy!

Apparently our little community hospital made the news with our drive up corona virus testing and the long, long lines that brought. So far there are no confirmed cars in SMC, but we have a friend awaiting results on top of all this, so I guess the rest of the week will bring answers.

We didn’t get to everything on our daily list, but we did get to a lot. This is precious family time and we are praying for us all and counting our blessings.
