Our family just got a little bit bigger!

But not in the way you probably think. ;)

After months of pleading for a pet we finally relented and allowed Christian to get a hamster.
His name is Alexander the Great.
He is a recluse.
He's kind of a mean little suck and likes to escape and bite when he's held.
He consequently doesn't get held very often.
Which means he stays in his cage.
A lot.
I kinda feel bad for the poor, solitary guy.

Bringing him home and putting the cage together.
It's a family affair!
