the shower

on friday sister-in-law sara picked me up and we went to pick up lanes carseat that didn't make the connecting flight (the had given us a loaner and a $50 voucher) and then off to joe's house for the day. mama was at work, but my little buddy joseph (and his fam i guess;) kept me company. that afternoon autumn picked me up and we went shopping for jackie's surprise bridal shower. laney was napping when autumn came and i let my mom talk me into leaving her for nani to watch. ;)

after the shopping we went to jackie's grandma's to decorate, then back to mom's for the night.

 

the shower was saturday morning brunch and it all looked so pretty and was so fun.

we had way too much food, but better to have too much than not enough, right?

i think jackie probably knew about the shower, but she acted surprised and it was really fun.

we played the traditional clothes pin game (no leg crossing or saying "wedding"), a newlywed game (we asked paul questions and then made jackie answer and compared), a fun poem game (you got points for things you were wearing), and a wedding scattergories.

it was hilarious.

we had about 20 ladies there and they were all so fun!

all three of our moms were there, plus jackie's grandma and step-mom, paul's mom, and several of j's friends.

she got ton's of cute nighties and teddies.
