last thursday laney and i woke up at the lovely hour of 4am and headed up to baltimore.

east coast sunrise.

we parked the car in the long term lot and like the big girls that we are, we caught the shuttle to the airport. first time i've ever driven myself to the airport for a flight!

i didn't realize when i bought, but we had 2 stops. :(

lanes was a little bit tired of flying by this flight. she took awhile to settle down, but after about an hour she slept and all was well.

brotha joe picked us up and we went to his house.

nani met up with us after work and we ate and visited.

we took a few pictures of the cousins.

there were a couple foods i really wanted to get in el paso and one of them was a delicious agua fresca. i tried the pistachio and it was delish.

joe took me to this cute little market by their house and i fell in love.

best popsicles evah!

my fav is the coconut. :)

they have a deli-type area that makes homemade pico de gallo and homemade tortillas.

 

all hot and fresh in their packages.

sigh, i loooove food...

even the checkout signs were cute. i could have shopped there all day.

then mama took me back to my childhood home.

lanes and i were pooped and headed straight to bed.
