labor day

monday was labor day.

autumn and jackie had left that day so we had a whole day planned for family time.

laney loves kitties!

she kept trying to reach for her, silly girl.

visits home always have to include a trip to chico's.

the best rolled tacos ev-ah!

at joe's house we:

watched movies, watched home movies (hilarious!), played games, and bbq'd.

taylor even talked sarah and i into playing her twilight and new moon game.

i'm not embarrassed to say that i did better than i thought i would.

i guess i really know me some twilight.

after dinner we all went for a family walk. then before we left we had to take a million pictures.

"i'm outtie."

so then we thought maybe we'd push our luck and get all the cousins in the pics.

someone wasn't thrilled...

aaaand officially grumpy.

i don't give up easily though.

and there were more photo combinations to take.

the next morning lanes and i boarded another plane for the long flights home. it was a really good visit. i got to see a lot of friends and spend a lot of time with family. it was fun and relaxing and i'm so grateful for the opportunity to go home and for the family back home that "let" me go.
