from the blog hiatus - part 3

i do hate to do a million posts all at once, but sometimes you gotta strike while the iron is hot.

and it's better than nothing, right?

more of addie's photo dictating - post office edition.

i really love being able to have outings with the kids by themselves. even if it's just a quick after school trip to the post office. and it appears we have a new favorite dress. i hadn't noticed until i started posting 4 times a day and addie's in the same dress 90% of the time. :)

and picking me some flowers.

i do so love bouqet after bouqet of dandelions and tiny little flower weeds. :)

this is a sarah pic from our kid swap day. apparently addie is a crazy driver and kept getting the car stuck. nothing that a little teamwork can't fix! i hope these girls will always be close!

auntie alli did a cute countdown to babytown before she came and watched the girls. every few days she posted this to fb. so technological and creative, that one!

and now a happy one.

matt must have been home this day and i was able to take addie to school by myself. so then we got to sit up by the front door for awhile and have quality time and allow her to be the line leader, which is a big deal in the pre-k crowd!

one day chris and i were in a hurry and the baby seat was already forward facing in the little green car. so since we were only going up the street we let laney ride forward facing.

 

quinn and delaney send each other pics a lot, so laney sent this one to quinn with the caption

"cuz, have you ever ridden forward facing? it's cray cray and i'm worried!"

and then quinn sent back

"noooo!"

aren't they so cute and clever?!

chris and i signed up for his first college course.

it's just his lifeguard class, but it's held at the community college down the street and i think it's good for him to see different college options.

love the different socks!

so 80's!



one day during our gymnastics break we went shopping at big lots.

and because we're class-y we ate our lunchables on their patio table display.

they thought it was such an adventure, they were in heaven!

she prays!

we were saying prayers the other night and she totally folded her arms and said Jesus.

she's getting so big!

the other day i found this suspicious clump of blond hair under my vanity chair in the bathroom.

when i confronted a certain 3 and 4 year old about it, the 3 year old's eyes got big and she pointed to the 4 year old and said "he did it!" and the 4 year old admitted it and showed me from whence the hair came. frankie's hair is such a mess already that i really hadn't even noticed. but you can see how long some of her hair is, and how short the cut part is. at least it's not from the front again.

never a dull moment.
