excitement

saturday

*i took christian up to the church at 6am to meet up with the scouts for the all-day camporee.

*i figured since i was up there and matt was home with girls i should go for a run with the new scenery. i get so bored just running all around our neighborhood. it was nice.

*we cleaned the church with the streeters and then rewarded ourselves with some delicious chic-fil-a and playtime.

sunday

*we got our church on

*then we got our boy scout 5k meeting on

*then we got our byd on

*we also finally had matt's chosen birthday lasagna

*no naps to be had, but a good day still

 

monday

*i went for a nice long 6.5 mile run and i upped my pace to 10 minute miles. cardio-wise, i felt great. but my calves, knee, and thighs were tight and sore. then as the day went on the outside of my right food started hurting and it's still sore. boo!!!

*i met up with neighbor arnika for some hand-me-down buying. sweet!

*we met up with alecia and sarah for some visiting (birth stories, hooray!) and baby emma holding (super precious, yay!)

*we ran to target for diapers and birthday presents

*we went to a fun birthday party for neighbor crystal at oga's

*they gave out these cool asian soda's in glass bottles (the kind with the marble in it that keeps it from spilling) and as we were leaving addie was holding the door open and somehow fell and scraped her knee and dropped her soda. it was all very dramatic. no need to worry though, we got a new soda, and then larry himself invited us over to larry's comics and ice cream (cause those two things go together) where addie dried her tears with some play dough (cookie dough) ice cream cones.

*came home for five minutes and then took lexi to work. that's a lovely hour long expenditure.

*dinner, bed, clean-up, pick up lexi, same ol'

 

tuesday

*curtis and lily came to play for the day

*we had a nice presidency meeting at our house and then lisa hung out till it was time to take addie to school. so nice to work with friends. :)

*after i picked addie up i had to go pick christian up (he had to stay and take a test) and then we ran brian home. another lovely hour long+ expenditure. seems like my chauffeuring duties have been large lately. we will have an able driver again in 19 days (and not a day too soon!)

*we shoveled our dinner and off to christian's baseball game

*another frustrating game, we lost 6-3. that's not the frustrating part though, the boys were just kinda angry and defeated from really early on. hopefully we can get some wins and build some confidence. christian got 1 good hit and then 3 super high pop flies that were all caught - darnit!

*laney has a super bad cold, so we left her home with lexi (they do come in handy sometimes;)

*matt had class and then met us at the game. it was sooooo cold that he brought the girls home after watching an inning with me.
